Having played through this, I like the premise... but I notice a bit of an issue. There's no point to doing a prestige excluding deep roots and the one achievement. Decay rate is moot unless there's nowhere for new items to spawn (0.25 decay on 30 items gets just as much rot as 1.00 decay on 30 items,) the ones that permanently unlock upgrades come after you've already unlocked those upgrades in the run so you'd have to reset to lose them in the first place, and double nutrients comes after you most likely have cleared out the shop of upgrades.
Thanks for the feedback!
As some of the other comments said, the idea is great but we're lacking in user input after getting all the upgrades, and I think you could get away with making a small encyclopedia for echoes but a tool tip foor them would certainly be much more appreciated
Echoes are included in the encyclopedia. https://imgur.com/a/XpLccdT
Also as I stated in the reply for the other comment I am currently working on adding more content to the game. Working on this alone on my own free time :)
Game definitely need more upgrades. You get all the upgrades super quickly and don't have any use for nutrients after that.
Currently working on adding more content. Thanks for the feedback!
Nice idea. I'm missing some quickinfos for the cells (meaning of colors?) or the echos (What does spore memory do?).
I will start working on adding a help/info section. Or should I add a encyclopedia feature of some sort?
Thanks for the feedback!
What i was missing was just a quick info: Mouse pointer is hovering over "spore memory". That means: Fungus ist rotting 20% faster. Or something like that. In my opinion an encyclopedia feature would best work with some story content. So opening it would give a special added value.
I did update and added a encyclopedia yesterday morning!
as a game that requires you to click a lot, the pop up messages being dismissed when clicking anywhere are so easily dismissed on accident that it really should not be made this way
Which popup messages are you referring to?
